-> Order Confirmation: Once an order is placed, TLG will confirm the order details, including pickup and delivery addresses, shipping method, and estimated delivery time.
-> Order Processing Time: Orders are typically processed within 1-3 business days. However, during peak periods or for specialised services, processing times may be longer.
-> Order Tracking: Customers can track their shipments using the provided tracking number on TLG’s website or through a dedicated tracking portal.
3.2 Delivery Timeframes
-> Estimated Delivery Times: TLG will provide an estimated delivery time based on the shipping method, destination, and any potential delays.
-> Delivery Timeframes: Delivery times may vary depending on factors such as traffic conditions, weather, and unforeseen circumstances.
-> Real-Time Tracking: TLG will provide real-time tracking updates to keep customers informed about the status of their shipments.
-> Delivery Attempts: TLG will make a reasonable number of delivery attempts. If delivery is unsuccessful, the Customer may be required to arrange for redelivery or pickup at a designated location.
3.3 Packaging Requirements
-> Customer Responsibility: The Customer is responsible for ensuring that goods are properly packaged to withstand transportation and handling.
-> Packaging Standards: Goods must be securely packed in appropriate containers, using adequate cushioning materials to protect against shocks and vibrations.
-> Labeling: Clear and accurate labels should be affixed to each package, indicating the sender’s and recipient’s addresses, contact information, and a brief description of the contents.
-> Hazardous Materials: Hazardous materials must be packaged, labeled, and transported in compliance with all applicable regulations.
3.4 Restricted Items
TLG reserves the right to refuse to transport any items that are illegal, hazardous, or prohibited by law. These items may include:
-> Dangerous goods (e.g., explosives, flammable liquids, corrosive substances)
-> Perishable goods that require specific temperature control (unless arranged in advance)
-> Items that are oversized, overweight, or irregularly shaped
-> Items that are fragile or require special handling
3.5 Claims and Liability
-> Claims Procedure: To file a claim for lost or damaged goods, the Customer must notify TLG within 7 days of the scheduled delivery date. For perishable goods, the timeframe is 2 days.
-> Claim Documentation: The Customer must provide supporting documentation, such as proof of purchase, photographs of the damaged goods, and any relevant shipping documents.
-> Liability Limits: TLG’s liability for loss or damage to goods is limited to the lesser of the declared value of the goods or the actual value of the loss or damage.
-> Insurance: The Customer is responsible for insuring their goods against loss or damage during transportation. TLG may offer optional insurance coverage, which will be outlined in a separate agreement.
3.6 Additional Considerations:
-> Customs Clearance: For international shipments, the Customer is responsible for complying with all customs regulations and import/export requirements.
-> Delivery Area Restrictions: TLG may have limitations on delivery areas, especially for remote or inaccessible locations.
-> Service Disruptions: In the event of service disruptions due to unforeseen circumstances, TLG will make reasonable efforts to minimise delays and inform customers of any changes.
By using TLG’s shipping services, the Customer agrees to be bound by these terms and conditions.
